Courtland Livesley-James is the Chief Financial Officer of Global Environmental Liquid and a Canadian entrepreneur, investor, and corporate advisor with experience in venture capital, investment banking, and capital markets. He has been involved in financing and advising emerging companies across sectors including healthcare, technology, and natural resources.
He grew up in Toronto, Ontario, and attended the University of Waterloo, where he studied Accounting and Financial Management and played on the university’s men’s varsity rugby team.
He built his career in corporate finance and investment banking. Early in his career, he helped develop the investment banking division at Dundee Capital Markets, advising companies on financing, capital raising, and strategic transactions during periods of rapid growth in emerging sectors.
As Chief Financial Officer of Global Environmental Liquid, he leads financial strategy, corporate development, and operational performance. He plays a central role in driving growth initiatives, including strategic partnerships, platform expansion, and capital structuring, with a focus on scalable, long-term value creation.
He brings a disciplined, data-driven approach to financial management, overseeing cash flow optimization, unit economics, and financial planning to support high-growth operations. He works closely with leadership to evaluate new opportunities, manage risk, and execute on the company’s strategic growth roadmap.
